About RDAASW
RDAA South West
was founded in 1978
Jean Lishman, who is our Patron, along with Maud Stanley and Olga Green were just three of the founder members of RDAASW.
Both Jean and Maud hold Life Membership of both RDAA and RDAASW. Many of our wonderful volunteers have 20+ years of service.
Olga Green’s family generously donated our Arena where many Clients have enjoyed their riding sessions over many years.
Our mission statement reads
“RDAA enables people with disabilities and volunteers throughout Australia to experience enjoyment, challenge and a sense of achievement through participation in equestrian activities to improve their quality of life, attain personal goals and develop life skills”.
